The dedicated team at the Company of Animals has decided to take on a great challenge by participating in the Great North Run in aid of Dogs for the Disabled.
They have pledged to raise £10,000 for the charity and are working hard together as a team to hit this ambitious target - you can find out more by visiting their dedicated fundraising webpage. The Company of Animals also support the Charity by donating dog toys, kongs and other useful items to help stimulate our dogs.
Staff at Hilton hotels have been raising money to sponsor our partnerships since 2005. Most recently Dogs for the Disabled met with and addressed 80 of Hilton's key volunteer fundraisers and the Trustees of Hilton in the Community Foundation at their annual meeting in London.
Staff from hotels around the South East have also enjoyed visiting our training centre at Banbury. Thanks to the funds raised through raffles, campaigns and events, the Foundation has committed to funding the first three partnerships for our new Autism Project.
Hill's Pet Nutrition supports Dogs for the Disabled by donating food to every dog throughout its working life, ensuring that all are dogs nutritional needs are well supported whatever their age.

The Missing Pets Bureau has enthusiastically supported the charity over a number of years, offering both practical and financial support. Dogs for the Disabled works with other corporate supporters and the Missing Pets Bureau and receives a donation on every pack sold.
We were delighted to have been chosen as the Midlands Co-op Charity of the Year for 2006 who raised a staggering £210,000 for Dogs for the Disabled! This fantastic amount really helped to have a direct impact on Dogs for the Disabled's work - and helped both staff and customers get really passionate about our work.
Through their dedicated charities committee, Rabobank have been donating to Dogs for the Disabled since 2001. Each year they like to sponsor several dogs right through their training. The staff of Rabobank love to see how their money is being used by the charity and receive regular updates and photographs of their sponsored dogs. The charity attend an annual charity day where the staff are thrilled to meet Dogs for the Disabled partnerships and of course, puppies!
When Vodafone contact us about a team building and volunteering day, we knew we had just the job for them! Staff swapped their smart office ware for hob-nail boots and gardening gloves to help us create a new access path to our dog free running area and a beautiful garden for our partnerships to enjoy while they train at the centre.
In addition to the challenge event, staff fundraised for Dogs for the Disabled prior to the event and also had input from the Dogs for the Disabled training team and partnerships to learn the impact that an assistance dog can have on a disabled person.
