Working Together - Changing Lives
In every town or village, down a street somewhere near you, there is almost certainly someone that could benefit from the life changing effects of an assistance dog trained by Dogs for the Disabled.
We want to be able to help more adults and children with disabilities to live an increased and fulfilled life, but we need your help.
Perhaps you hold an annual dog show or sponsored walk. Maybe you could hold a coffee morning or social event in aid of the charity.
You might like to raise money towards a specific target, such as purchasing a puppy, supporting a local partnerships or sponsoring a dog throughout its training. Find out more

How you can help
Golf Clubs

Wrag Barn Golf Club, made Dogs for the Disabled their Charity of the Year and through various fundraising events raised a total of £9,000.
Their money will be used to sponsor a dog right through training, until they are matched with their new partner and qualify as a full assistance dog.
Schools
Fairfield School, Leics and Eagle House School, Berks have each raised over £750 towards our Purchase a Puppy campaign.
Visits from the charity helped the children understand more about Dogs for the Disabled and how our specially trained dogs are able to provide vital help and support to an adult or child will disabilities, so that they can lead fuller and more independent lives.
Community Volunteer Groups
Sporting Bears support Children’s Project
We are very pleased to have had tremendous support from The Sporting Bears Motor Club who have raised £7,000 towards our Children’s Project. The Northampton Branch – The Shire Bears, have made an additional donation of £850 in support of Luke and Jaffy, a local child’s partnership, with a pledge of another £850 at the end of the year for further aftercare support.
