Dogs for the Disabled receives no government funding so every donation the charity receives really does have a direct impact on our work.
You may wish to leave us money to help with something specific such as the costs of training an assistance dog or even to purchase a puppy, but whatever you decide, please let us know as this also helps us to plan for the future.
You can download a copy of our Legacy Leaflet by clicking here.
If you would like someone to contact you about leaving a legacy please click here to send an email or telephone us on 01295 252600. All enquiries will be treated in complete confidence.
Writing your Will
We recommed you use a solicitor or qualified Will Writer (recognised by a professional body) to write your will. This should cost a relatively small amount, but this will give you and your family peace of mind that your wishes are legally binding.
The Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) can provide you with details of solicitors throughout England & Wales who specialise in this area. Their number is 020 7838 4890.
You can also search for a local solicitor on the Law Society website: www.lawsociety.org.uk
Members of the Institute of Professional Will Writers offer a home visiting service – see www.ipw.org.uk for further information or call them on 08456 442042
