Recycle the dog and bone
Dogs for the Disabled the charity that trains assistance dogs to fetch the phone, will be urging people in Oxfordshire to fetch their old mobiles this week and recycle them for Dogs for the Disabled during National Recycling Week.
Dogs for the Disabled can receive £2.50 for every mobile phone it recycles through Greener Solutions. Sarah Watson of Dogs for the Disabled explains: “So many of us have an old mobile phone in a cupboard or tidied away somewhere in the back of a drawer. Recycling for Dogs for the Disabled couldn’t be simpler, just by making one call we’ll send you a pre-paid envelope to recycle your phone.” It costs £750 to purchase a puppy for Dogs for the Disabled, so the more mobile phones Dogs for the Disabled receive, the bigger difference the charity can make to more disabled people. Call Dogs for the Disabled today on 01295 252600 or email info@dogsforthedisabled.org to order your mobile recycling envelope. -ends- Released: 3rd June 2008
