If you've decided you'd like to support us, then you may like to consider fundraising to help support a particular part of the charity's work.
Whatever you decide to do, your fundraising efforts will truly make a big difference to our work, enabling us to train more assistance dogs and create more life-changing partnerships.
Here’s how the money you raise could help us:
Purchase a Puppy - £750
Full of mischief and promise, our young pups will one day be helping a person with disabilities fulfil their potential.
You can help support the charity's work by purchasing one of our youngest recruits. Your donation will also help buy a puppy starter kit with bed, collar, lead and essential vaccinations.
You'll receive a photograph of your special pup, introductory letter, and update as your pup commences training.
Support Local Partnerships - £2,500
Every partnership created by Dogs for the Disabled is supported throughout their working life and into retirement. Aftercare support includes regular vet checks, visits from a qualified instructor, and round the clock support from our dedicated team when required.
Aftercare is an essential part of the charity's work and your donation will be working hard to support partnerships in or close to your region.
In return for your donation you'll receive a photograph of a partnership, an update on the highlights of their year, and where possible we'll arrange a visit to your group from a registered speaker.
Sponsor a Dog - £5,000
Help us transform lives by training an assistance dog to help a child or adult with disabilities. Your support will help us purchase a puppy, get all the socialisation it needs with a volunteer family before commencing its training at around twelve months old.
Training an assistance dog at our national training centre takes around six months, but it's worth it. Our trainee partnerships leave our centre full of optimism and hope for their future together - your donation will help their dreams come true.
When you sponsor a dog through its training you'll receive a framed photograph, updates throughout your sponsorship year, and you'll also be offered a tour around our national training centre where we'll make every effort for you to meet your sponsored dog.
