Help us to develop our services for children with autism

PAWS, the National Autistic Society and the University of Lincoln have together launched a web survey funded by Big Lottery to find out what benefits pet dogs can provide families with a child with autism, and if these depend on dog breed, age or origin (rescue versus from a breeder) – all questions we are commonly asked by families! To be able to give accurate answers, we are looking for owners with a wide of range of dogs – all shapes, sizes, breeds, and cross breeds are welcome.

If you are the parent of child diagnosed with autism aged 3 to 16 years and have a pet dog, we’d be grateful if you could spare 10 minutes to take part. This research is the first large scale study of its kind looking at the impact of pet dogs on families with a child with autism, and by taking part, you could help thousands of families to be better informed.
